The purpose of this conference is to unite members of North Carolina’s biotechnology community for a day of networking, professional development, and exploration of career and educational pathways in biotechnology. It has been produced by members of the North Carolina Biotech Leaders group.
The first annual North Carolina Community College Bioteach Conference is being hosted at Pitt Community College in Winterville, NC on July 17, 2026.

Opening in January 2026.
As this is the inaugural meeting, we are open to most topics related to biotechnology in North Carolina. Topics may include, but not limited to:
- Workforce Development (training, apprenticeships, etc)
- Industry skills and training
- K-12 outreach and engagement
