Description

Students will learn how to write using the three most commonly needed skills in any type of technical document: writing clearly, concisely, and cohesively. The aim of the class is for writers to write technical documents that can be easily read and understood by the reader, which means that the writer must know their audience. Participants will also learn how to effectively outline the materials they are writing using good grammar, punctuation, voice, and tense. They will also be able to score their own writing using various tools to assess the effectiveness of their writing and practice rewriting skills with poorly written examples.
