Step 1: Reserve Your Spot

Email Address: Use a personal and permanent email address. It should be used on your resume and for communication with employers. Avoid using a college assigned email address (.edu) unless there is no other option. Consider that you might not use this address permanently or long-term. College networks may block our emails and you might need to post a ticket with them to allow @ncbionetwork.org.

Subscribe by completing the form. Important career fair information will be sent to this list. You can unsubscribe at any time.

2. Allow email from @ncbionetwork.org

Check your inbox to make sure you are receiving emails from us. If you didn't receive an email confirmation when "Reserving Your Spot"...

  1. First locate it in your promotions, spam, or other folders.
  2. Mark it as safe or "Not Spam". You will need to find the correct method for the email software or application (app) you are using. Example search: "How to mark email as not spam"

Resume Review Submission Instructions

  1. File Name: The file name for your resume should be your first and last name. Example, Pat-Smith
  2. Your Name: Use the same name on your resume that you used when "Reserving Your Spot" for the career fair.
  3. Email Address: Use a personal and permanent email address. It should be used on your resume and for communication with employers. Avoid using a college assigned email address (.edu) unless there is no other option. Consider that you might not use this address permanently or long-term. College networks may block our emails and you might need to post a ticket with them to allow @ncbionetwork.org.

Community College Students

If you attended a previous BioNetwork Career Fair then your resume is already approved. Step 4 is complete and you will be receiving information about the upcoming career fair as we get closer to the event date.

If this is your first BioNetwork Career Fair, submit your resume to your community college contact using the "Resume Review Submission Instructions" above. They will work with you to finalize your resume.

Community College Alumni

  1. You are eligible for a professional review of your resume.
  2. Submit your resume to career-fair@ncbionetwork.org using the "Resume Review Submission Instructions" above.

What if I am not affiliated with a Community College?

Submit your resume to career-fair@ncbionetwork.org using the "Resume Review Submission Instructions" above.

Attending at least one webinar will give you a better career fair experience.

Brazen.com is the online career fair platform that we use.

1. A Brazen registration email will be sent to you.

  1. You will receive an email containing a link to register at Brazen for this specific event.
  2. This email will be sent to you from BioNetwork or your college contact.
  3. You will receive this email between 1-4 weeks prior to the event. This depends on the time it takes to review, edit and approve your resume. Once approved, you will receive it.
  4. Continue with the next steps while waiting on this email.

How do I know I will get this email? If you completed Steps 1-5, we have your spot reserved and you will receive this email. If you want further confirmation or have any questions, send us a note to career-fair@ncbionetwork.org and we will be happy to confirm your spot.

2. This is how to register on Brazen after receiving the email.

  1. Use the same name and email you used to "Reserve Your Spot" for the career fair. This should also be the same name and email address on your resume.
  2. Upload your resume in PDF format.
  3. You will not be fully registered until you have uploaded your resume.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email from Brazen.com when you are fully registered on the platform.

Visit Companies and Apply

  1. View Companies attending the upcoming career fair.
  2. Visit a company profile page by selecting their logo.
  3. There will be links to job listings on their company profile page.
  4. Go ahead and apply in advance.
