
Environmental Monitoring
This course provides an introduction to cleanroom concepts and behavior. Topics include the impact of personal hygiene on contamination control, cleanroom basics, including donning and doffing of apparel, disinfection and sanitization, and physical plant concepts, such as filtration, air flow, temperature, pressure, and humidity control. Upon completion, students will demonstrate an understanding of the reasons that controlled environments are so strictly controlled with the objective to minimize contamination.
