
Basic Chemical Processes
This course provides an introduction to basic atomic and molecular structure. Topics include naming conventions, differences between physical and chemical properties of atoms, ions, and both organic and inorganic molecules, and chemical incompatibilities or reactivity. Upon completion, students should have a general understanding and respect for chemicals typically used in the biomanufacturing industry.
