Applied Chemical Processes
This course provides an in-depth examination of the chemistry involved in biomanufacturing. Topics include many chemical formulas, redox and other reactions, physical and chemical factors affecting the outcome of successful products, and will include intensive laboratory work. Upon completion, the student should be able to demonstrate basic understanding of many of the chemical processes involved in the production of products in industrial settings.
