Applied Animal Science Technology/Poultry Management

Poultry Management is a concentration under the curriculum title of Applied Animal Science Technology. This curriculum is designed to prepare individuals for careers in the poultry industry. It provides a basic understanding of production and processing of poultry and poultry products according to scientific principles essential to efficient and profitable operations.

Course work includes poultry production, egg production, meatbird production, and exotic and gamebird production as well as related courses.

Graduates should be qualified for employment as flock managers, field service persons, and salespersons in the poultry industry.
