Description

Would you like to make your own botanically based dyes from native plants and mushrooms, common 'weeds', and easy-to-grow garden plants? In this workshop, we discuss the best plant material to make natural dyes. Through hands-on experimentation, you can learn several color extraction techniques, making multiple dye baths and eco-prints.  You will take home samples of plant-dyed cotton and wool as well as  your own eco-printed silk scarf.
