A career in Biotechnology can be extremely rewarding. Many of our students come to our programs from very diverse career backgrounds. Many are displaced workers, career changers, or industry people wanting to enhance their skills in preparation for career advancement.

BioNetwork offers guidance, support and mentoring to prospective students, current students, graduates, parents, educators and school counselors. Through a number of avenues, including career and job fairs held in partnership with the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, NC Central University's Biomanufacturing Research Institute and Technology Enterprise (BRITE) program and NC State University's BioManufacturing Training and Education Center (BTEC).

Careers in Biotechnology are broadbased; these include lab/non-lab positions in Research & Development, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality Control and Assurance. Biotechnology is one of the fastest growing industries in the world, even during these difficult economic times.
