Basic Lab Skills I

This introductory course prepares students how to perform functions normally expected in a laboratory setting. They will gain basic knowledge of and learn how to operate and calibrate scientific equipment, become familiar with proper safety procedures and how to properly maintain order in the laboratory. Students will also learn the basic scientific calculations essential for working in a laboratory environment and how to properly maintain a laboratory notebook.
